I really loved this book I liked how it handled the arranged marriage aspect and the whole these groups were at war very well. I really loved the characters especially Essie and Farrendel I loved positive and fierce Essie as well as calm and rather gentle Farrendel who hides so much of himself from many. I loved how the romance between them developed a gradual process of them caring for one another until they came to love the other and understand each other as well. There were many other interesting characters as well like Farrendel's siblings and grandmother and Essie's brothers and mother they added many great things to the story. The plot was great it starts with the elves being in the Kingdom Essie is the princess of there is then an arranged marriage that they agree on so Essie goes with them after saying goodbye to her family goes to the elf kingdom is accepted by few finds out many things there is great action and romance looking forward to reading more.
