This was a very interesting insight into the standom mentality and the lengths that people go to to protect /justify their faves and their faves actions. It very much came off to me that the mc also had some type of neurodivergency that her family ignored, which pushed her further into fandom bc it was the only place she felt wanted or like she belonged.
