I went into this thinking it was going to be a duology and initially was a bit critical on the pacing, but luckily we will be getting more adventures from our cast of characters. Normally I am a fan of multiple perspective books, but I feel like there was slightly too much of Jesadirany's portions where they could have been consolidated into 1-2 longer segments (especially with the twist that's revealed). Overall, I thought this was very on par with the first book and I enjoyed getting the epic adventure aspect along with learning more about the other characters apart from The Name Bearer.
