i FINALLY did it. i finally read it. i started this book like two years ago but suffered each and every time i picked it up. by reading along with the audiobook, i managed much better. however, my final thoughts are just as frustrated as my initial thoughts: ugh why am i reading this. it had originally be sold to me as an "adult Twilight" but no characters really stood out to me other than the aunts and the plot never grabbed me. maybe Twilight was directed towards teenage-me and not adult-me.
