Words of Radiance by Brandon Sanderson
5.0

If I had to choose a favorite Cosmere book,  it would be this one. We've already got some of the world and characters established, but we get plenty of more information and growth here, yet there's still so much more to come and we have somehow a satisfying ending, too. Some of the most iconic Sanderson scenes, like the boots and "Honor's dead, but I'll see what I can do," are in this book. We understand Shallan completely now, compared to where the understanding was at the beginning of this book, and we still get believable advancement for Dalinar, Kaladin, and even Elhokar and others. A good balance of action and politics combined with interesting additions to our knowledge of the worldbuilding and magic system makes this maybe an even better reread than on the first time through.
