this wasn’t bad - but it wasn’t well done either.

the writing felt very you my to me -as if targeted towards 11 or 12 year olds reading the first romance?
it tried so hard, with the too casual writing style and over the top behavior that it was just completely unrealistic and too much.
but younger readers tend to like those books.
the problem was that it clearly is not a book targeted towards that audience.

on top of that comes that this was so much insta love there should be a even quicker version of that just for this book.
they meet - and that’s it. they are both way to into each other for not knowing anything at all about each other before meeting.

lucy especially behaved very childish and over the top from start to finish, which the writing style made utterly clear.

while cooper was a bit better i don’t think he was an actual well done character either.

all together?
not the best book i read BUT also not the worst
mostly this book was just not at all my reading style.
but i am sure it has an audience.

so while i wouldn’t widely recommend this book to anyone looking for a romance, i do think that if you try the book and like the way it’s written?
great give it a try.
