Princess Sultana's Daughters
by Jean Sasson
reflective
medium-paced
This book is the second installment of the Saudi royal family. This focus's on the daughters of Sultana from the first book. They both grow up in relative splendor and comfort, yet they are both extremely suppressed. Their lives would basically be reduced to an arranged marriage and attempting to birth as many sons as possible. Both of these daughters react to their circumstances in different ways. Again, I really enjoyed the look inside another culture, and I found it to be extremely interesting.
