3.5 stars rounded up to 4 (I’m nice like that). I enjoyed the characters and the setup, as well as the final twist. It’s also well written and easy to read. It is very dated in places (people are always smoking cigarettes or weed and having sex, oh the 70’s), but all-in-all a good s-f novel. It didn’t make me want to read the rest of the series though, I think I’ll stop there.
