Many have tried to redo or out do the original Old MacDonald, and for the first time ever I think I have found the book that can go head to head. This is a vowel book. The pictures looked kind of kooky at first but they go right with the words. What I love about this book is that granny is into “A E I O U and when she came across and e this is what she’d do:”. This would be followed by actions that glorify that vowel. Admittedly I couldn’t sing it to come out like Old Macdonald for the life of me, but I did love the tongue twister action of just trying to say what granny was going.
