This was pretty fun. Stanley is a trans man who goes from being a paranormal investigator to demon hitman, then finally a vampire. He goes on adventures, time travels, falls in love, makes enemies, is friends with ghosts, and makes both good and bad choices. The language seems a bit too modern at times for a book that is supposed to take place in the 19th century. Despite that, I would still recommend this book. I will read the sequel whenever it is published.
