This story was very well written. Often when authors jump from one character’s perspective to another or one timeframe to another I get lost. I was never confused when this happened in The Vanishing Half. I became invested in every character and my enjoyment of the book grew after each chapter.  The storyline is so interesting and it makes the reader wonder what it would be like to be each of these characters. The author approaches and addresses racism in a way that could be consumed by even a closed minded person. I also love the trans representation! I highly recommend this book and applaud Brit for a brilliant job.
