Crying Wolfe by Kerrigan Byrne
4.0

I've said it before and I'll say it again...I love all of Kerrigan Byrne's books. Crying Wolfe is the fifth book in the Goode Girls series and I loved it. From beginning to end, how the main characters met and built their relationship was great.

I thought both Rosaline and Elijah were interesting characters. Rosaline does her best to avoid society and has a love for the stars, which is what brings her into Elijah Wolfe's new home. Elijah recently purchased the home and when she decides to sneak in, Elijah has no idea who she is and follows her back to her room. Unfortunately for both, her reputation is ruined now and after finding out she is the sister in law to a friend (Carlton Morley) they find themselves being talked into a name only marriage to avoid any further scandal for the Goode family.

As I mentioned, I loved how their relationship developed. Eli grew up in Nevada and isn't your normal gentleman but he does his best to become one and Rosaline is the one to step up and push him to consider an actual relationship as she wants more than a marriage of convenience.

This was a great next book in the series and I look forward to whatever Byrne writes next. If you haven't picked up this book (or this series) yet, I definitely think you should.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the review copy.
