I thoroughly enjoyed this. A literary suspense novel about a man who is living illegally in Australia and witnesses a crime. Adiga uses this to explore the complexity of dealing with authorities when you are an 'illegal', and what the severe consequences are for the main character if he chooses to help the police with this crime. Clever storytelling and very original.
