Scoring the Player
by Samantha Lind
This is book 2 in the Eagles series, and the timeline runs parallel to book one, so you could get away without reading the first book however you will miss some things if you don't.
I liked this book better than the first one. Brian and Kinley's story is a friends-to-lovers-to more with a touch of sadness and tragedy thrown in.
I loved the transformation of the stereotypical sports star man whore to man in love. I loved the struggles that both Brian and Kin had with their feelings, the distance, the falling in love.
It was great to see Scott and Becca's relationship from the outside and to see where they were at. I am really looking forward to Murph and Madison's book too.
Bring on those Eagles!
