I could not put this one done. I absolutely loved this story from start to finish. From the overall story to the characters it was amazing!

Frankie aka Birdie is a single mom who is juggling school and doing the best she can to make sure her son, Maverick, is well taken care of. Being an exotic dancer is a good way for her to provide for her son and easily work around her schedule for school. Orion is part owner of a construction business. He works hard and likes to have fun. He crosses paths with Birdie and is instantly drawn to her. But, he is also drawn to his sister’s new friend and their roommate, Frankie.

From the start, there was chemistry between Frankie and Orion. The two of them are drawn to each other. However, Frankie is a little standoffish because of her past, plus she doesn’t want to bring anyone into her son’s life and have them leave. The bond between Maverick and Orion is the most adorable thing I have read in a while. The two of them formed a deep connection and instantly became best friends. There were so many sweet moments between the two of them and you just can’t help but swoon over it.

This story has the spice, the swoon, and the laughs from the start. It is a perfect read!
