This was such a cute start to a great series. Luka and Stella have been best friends for years, never anything more than that. Stella enters a contest and needs a fake boyfriend to increase her chances, and who better than her best friend Luka? Of course, both Stella and Luka secretly harbor major crushes on each other and their arrangement just makes things that much more tense. As we all know, fake dating often turns into real love and this one is no exception. I love the best friends to lovers and fake dating trope, and this one also features a small town and found family, plus a celebrity visit. I think this book is so well written and does not feel like a debut novel at all. I love the world building and all of the secondary characters. I really loved this book and highly recommend it!
