Sad to say goodbye to this duology. This is romantasy at it’s best. The romance is definitely the main plot of the story, but I didn't mind. Rune & Gideon have so much push and pull romantically and are constantly strategically out-maneuvering of each other; it helps keep things really interesting. I enjoyed the pacing of this book and I loved the new & returning side characters. I am definitely keeping an eye out for what Kristen Ciccarelli does next.
