No Way but Through: An American Refugee Story
by Emily Anne Brown
Wow, this book was good! Some parts were a little hard for me to grasp like the day US was invaded but I still enjoyed it. This book is also written in days rather than chapters which is unique but worked for this topic. I found myself wishing it was longer to find out what happened after. My heart broke for the characters and I am compelled to find out more on this issue that is very relevant today. I would recommend this book to readers that want to be moved and open their eyes to what is still happening in the world today. The story of refugees and what they go through is shown well through Browns book!
