It was a solid 1.5 for 80% of the book, but then a story emerged and I began to enjoy it. The writing was fine, I loved all the different characters and the way they built their relationship. It was super spicy which was great, but yeah, there was zero story outside of the relationship and I had a really hard time finishing it.

If you are after a super hot book, give it a whirl, just don't expect a plot for most of it.

Absolutely love the cover, it's stunning and really sets the town for the gothic feel of the book.
