I think the TV show is better honestly. I did enjoy this still because I am obsessed with this show and plot, but I think the changes the show made to the plot enhanced it. I love the idea of getting to know each other through the journal and encouraging each other to explore the city. I think it is a very sweet read for the holidays. I, however, stand by the fact that Dash and Lily (show or book) do not last past the first year of college. Which honestly I think is good for them. They both learned a lot from each other and not every romance needs to have a happy forever but only a happy for now.
