This was a sad reality of a story. Black man accused of a crime that he didn't commit just because of the color of his skin and an encounter of another type with the accuser not long before the incident happened.
I liked the letter part of the story more than the rest. I'm not really sure why, probably because it shows the break down of the relationship between Roy and Celestial. I didn't feel sorry for where any of the characters ended up. I don't think that Roy and Celestial would have made it anyway with these circumstances.
I think the one I really liked was Roy Sr. He had a good head on his shoulders and offered good advice.... Sad that no one really took his advice.
