I recommend this book if you’re looking for a fast paced, easy to read fantasy book with a sprinkle of spice ;)

This book had me grinning from the first chapter! An excellent continuation of Zarya’s story. The banter, humor, and romantic tension had me squealing throughout.

The unique magic system is a nice change from other fantasy books as is the fact it is immersed in an Indian inspired culture. This is what made me want to read the second book in the series. The romance plot line really picks up compared to Heart of Night and Fire which I was happy about! I am intrigued to see where it goes given where the story ends. The rest of the book is rather fast paced which is another change from the first book I am happy about! (For context, when I first read Heart of Night and Fire, I gave it a 3 star review due to pacing and lack of romance.)

I can’t wait to see what happens to Zayra in the next book!

I was provided an e-book ARC, and this is my honest review. Thank you to Nisha and her team for having me on her ARC team for A Dance of Stars and Ashes.
