An artist that I was discovering has I was reading this book. The book give a good biography of the man and the context in which he lives. It also present a lot of pictures from various painting that the man did. Even if the book presented him well, I never really enjoy that much is painting, not really my style and not unique enough in my opinion (I don't know much about art, it's clearly more a feeling that knowledge here). So I would recommend the book for the Charles Whites fan's and not to discover him, because at 50$ us it's a lot of money to make a discovery that may not please you that much. But if you're a fan and want to know the man more and have good representation of his art... go ahead!
