Everything I want to say about this book could be a potential spoiler.
Without doing that, I'll have to keep it brief.
Throughout this entire book I wanted to grab the MC and shake him. Ask him what was wrong with him. He made me so angry, but in the best possible way. For someone like myself who isn't an emotional person, having a book bring an emotion to the surface says something about the quality of writing.
The book was tense and fast-paced and focused on character development. It was a quick read but that's most likely due to the fact that I didn't want to put it down.
The one note I do have to make that is not a spoiler, but merely a personal opinion, is the MC's wife is an awful person. I'll take an evil, sinister child over her any day.
Highly recommend if you enjoy quick, fast-paced thrillers.
