I really enjoyed this book. But I'm so upset how Alex died at the end. I was so hoping for a happy ending for her and Jack, but of course that would be too good to be true. It feels like I lost a friend when she died. There were so many upsetting things in this book that it would take too long to list them. One of my most favorite things about this book is how Branley was humanized instead as just written as someone who likes sex. I was so sad for her when someone at the assembly wished for her to get raped. However, I LOVED it when Alex killed Comstock and Sara's uncle, and ripped Ray's chain off. This book made me feel so many emotions, and I will definitely be reading it again one day.
