This was an okay book. I liked the enemies to lovers aspect but I felt it was never explained why Darius didn’t like the way his dad went about business. I felt like that was the missing element to totally Darius for me.
Also, I have to admit, I skimmed the last sex scene. It was overly repetitive and I wanted something different, or perhaps, not this at all. Again, if there had been something to differentiate it from all the others maybe I wouldn’t have, but it didn’t.
So overall this was a good enemies to lovers book, but just missing that something extra to take it to the next level.
