Unwanted
by Mia Sheridan
A Romantic Suspense / Tarzan retelling. If you can hang with an over-the-top and ridiculously serendipitous plot, this book is for you. If you’re one of those “that would have never happened in real life” readers, you’re probably gonna have a bad time.
Lucasaka Jak is basically Archer 2.0. Which is not a bad thing. We love a sweet cinnamon roll too soft for this world and his lady love who is just as soft and protective of his beautiful soul.
Reading Kyland actually got me to pick up Persuasion by Jane Austen, and this book is making me want to commit to finally reading The Count of Monte Cristo.
Kind of a lot of triggers? Pretty much what you’d expect based on the premise of this book. Still - read with care.
