Holy moly, I don't ever remember book disappointing me this much. It went from 5 to 2.5⭐️ real fast. I enjoyed the first half, even though it was different than first two books, it worked for me. I liked the more serious tone, showing mental and emotional consequences of witnessing a murder, but after The Event it all just fell apart. I can see why someone might be ok with that choice the author made, but I wasn't one of them. It ruined the whole trilogy for me. From now on, I'm just gonna pretend AGGGTM is a standalone.
