Oh the Draaaahma!
I don't love the "I was young and dumb" excuse and I think thats why I didnt like this book or the main character at first. But Rachel grew on me and this was written very well! The real life horror of growing up, the second-hand embarrassment, and the humor was all balanced perfectly.
