ARC received for an honest review

Oh what a tangled web we weave....

I wasn't sure what to expect with Hard Rules, but what we got was a web of lies, deceit, betrayal - and that is just the people in the Brandon family!

Big business means big money and big troubles for Shane Brandon - fighting to keep his business clean, fighting his father and brother.

Ugh, so much fighting and bitterness. I wanted to get them all into a room together and slap some sense into them all.

Emily is the light in all Shane's darkness. A chance encounter, a night together should be all they are to each other. But the fates have more in store for them.

#Shamily is so much more.

It was hard to know who to trust, who to believe in all of this story. Just when you think you know who the good guy is, the story takes a turn that was not expected.

I adored how Shane and Emily fought to be true to each other, to know each other - or did they?

Hard Rules is full of heat and suspense, and I was left with more questions and answers at the end.

I hope we don't have too long to wait to find out more.

One thing though - I don't really get the Sons of Anarchy references in the teasers and blurbs. Maybe it is just me, but it didn't really seem to fit?
