The pace of the book felt a little strange. Sometimes, it'd be really fast, and then again very slow. Also, I think one could make more of this plot.
Nevertheless, I liked it (but I was prepared for the topic since I have been researching the "Night Witches"), and it gave me some insight in a female pilots life during WWII
