Obsession in Death is the 40th book in the series. It always fascinates me how J.D. Robb (Nora Roberts) is able to come up with new and exciting plotlines. Each book leaves me wanting more. I love seeing the development of characters over time.
In Obsession, Eve, our number 1 detective, is back on the job. Christmas is over and a new killer is on the loose. This killer has dedicated their murders to Eve. They want her to know how much they admire her and work to please her.
This book allowed us to see how Eve has changed from book 1. Her circle is grown quiet big, and we are witness to her realisation to all of this. She is no longer just a cop.
I really enjoyed this book, I decided to listen to it on Audible and found myself sitting in my car just that little bit longer before and after work, to hear more of it.
Bring on the next one!!
