Broken Moon by Sarah Beth Moore

First of all I want to say thank you to the author you gave me an advanced copy to read and review it. I'm also sorry I'm doing it only now.
Second I want to point out that I am not a native english speaker, so maybe this review can contain grammar errors. Sorry, I'm traying my best.
I liked the book, the second half more than the first one, even though I was expecting something different. The thing I liked more is the author writing style and language: they are simple, plain, regular. There isn't too much technical vocabulary and there aren't many subordinates or weird construction; so I wasn't always on google translate to search the meaning of words or sentences.
Regarding the plot, as I said, I liked more the second part because is where appears the fantasy part, meanwhile the first half of the book reminds me of dystopian novel, which I don't like much. One of the best things is that the author chose a peculiar fantasy element: the soul and in some way the gods. I liked also all the searching and finding plot and her use of mythology, religions and latin, greek, italian (at first I didn't recognized Machiavelli "il fine giustifica i mezzi" quote in english, it's so strange!) quotes.
Regarding the charcters I love Pip, he is just so sweet and small and cute! But he also can be dangerous and I like it. I also like Naiya, I can easily understand her. Meanwhile I can't understand Enoch, I would only ask him "what are thinking/feeling?", and Tate but I don't know why, I think I simple feel her as "strange".

This review shows only my honest opinion of the book. This review is also on Amazon.
