Even though I liked this book and found it cozy and accessible at best, it fell short for me in many aspects.

The love interest/side character (and all the other females, actually) have no depth whatsoever, to the point that at the end she needs to be rescued and saved by the protagonist.

Too predictable for my taste, but would recommend to a different demographic, like middle schoolers and older children to encourage them to read more and boost their interest in literature.
