Thank you Celadon Books for the gifted copy of The Fury!  All opinions in this review are my own.

So far, Alex Michaelides books have been mixed for me.  I loved The Silent Patient but did not like The Maidens.  I was worried that The Fury was going to be a repeat of the The Maidens, but while it did take me some time to get into the story and the structure of the narration, I did end up enjoying it.

The Fury is an extremely fast-moving mystery with short chapters and a non-chronological timeline.  It reminded me a lot of the second Knives Out movie, Glass Onion.  The characters are not very likable on purpose so that you are suspicious of everyone involved.  No one has an alibi and the narrator does not seem incredibly trustworthy despite protesting otherwise.  I liked all of the twists and turns of this mystery!  Also, you will be rewarded if you have read Michaelides's previous two books.
