I was afraid I wouldn’t like this book but I enjoyed it more than I thought I would! Robin is such a lovable character and it was so great to see him get his found family at Babel and his internal conflict with helping Griffin. The ending was shocking and unexpected but not without hints so it wasn’t completely out of nowhere. The themes of the book were rebellion, colonialism, language, and what defines us. There is a lot of information about translation and language and footnotes and some people might be overwhelmed by that but I enjoyed it. I also liked the little sections we got from Robin’s friends perspectives.
