WOW, what an amazing ride!

This story is so well done that it grabbed onto me and wouldn’t let me go.
I was besotted with the delightfully adorable Deacon and swooned over Ozzy when he allowed his romantic side out to play. There’s no gratuitous steamy scenes included but the few scenes that are here are tender, sweet and very hot. That’s chemistry for you but they both have a secret that could turn their relationship to ash and there’s very intense emotions attached to those secrets.
A major reason I enjoyed this so much was the the ongoing theme of family (chosen or not) and how important that is. The McCoy family have this in spades with a boundless amount of love to share. I can’t wait to see how the remaining brothers stories are told.
So when you mix together some action, drama/suspense, romance, having my heart broken and then put back together and to top it all off, a twist in the tale, you a left with one absolutely brilliant read.
