I love how quirky Hazel is and that the theme is about being unapologetically you! And I was so excited to finally have a Korean American love interest! But I guess I just have higher expectations for Christina Lauren novels. It’s short and easy, and I’m grateful they didn’t drag it out... but it relied on two people who are clearly crazy about each other ignoring the obvious our of insecurity, which is just like every other romance novel so... I eye rolled through a lot of it.

Hazel was a raunchy combination of Lorelei Gilmore and Lou Clarke (Me Before You) which was right up my alley! Josh was stoic, brilliant, trustworthy, and fun!
