Maybe in Another Life
by Taylor Jenkins Reid
Full Review from my blog Owl Eyes Reviews
I was recommended this book by my best friend. She was super enthusiastic about it because the relationship between the main character and her best friend reminded my best friend of our friendship. Me, being eager to read something good, ordered the book in ebook form and started reading it ten minutes after my best friend recommended it. In that night, I read over 100 pages. I was hooked right away.
One thing I really loved book was Hannah and Gabby’s relationship. Maybe I’m biased, but I loved them. Mostly because they were so darn similar to me and my best friend. These characters, all of them, were very realistic. I felt like I could meet them in real life.
This is one of the first adult books that I’ve read that I’ve had this much fun while reading. I laughed, I gasped, I teared up, I had all the feelings. I haven’t felt that way about a book in a while. It wasn’t the best book I’ve ever read, but it was the most entertaining book I’ve read in awhile. It also really made me miss my best friend :(
