As a child of the 90s I loved the idea of this book but the execution fell a little flat for me. Good premise but overall a story that had trouble grabbing me. I think that part of it was the almost too casual writing style. Which is OK sometimes but sort of off-putting after awhile. Pretty cute but not that interesting.
