Neighbor Dearest by Penelope Ward
4.0

ARC received for an honest review

Not going to lie - I haven't read Stepbrother Dearest. Nothing against how great that book might be, but I just can't get into the Stepbrother thing!

And though Neighbor Dearest is about characters from the Stepbrother book, there is enough information and back story that I did not feel that I was missing anything

When Chelsea meets Damien, she really does feel like he is named after the kid in The Omen. But what she thinks could be nothing but trouble, could just be the HEA she has been looking for all along.

Grr Damien - at times I love love loved him, but at other times I wanted to slap some sense into, beat him over the head with my Kindle for things he said and did. I just wanted him to be what he could be for Chelsea.

But is he? For that you will have to read for yourself.

I did find that this book took a turn in a direction I really wasn't expecting it too (which is great, I like to be surprised!)

Neighbor Dearest is full of fun, flirtation, laughter, unicorns, hell hounds, sad times, mad times, don't wanna get out of bed times.

And I would expect nothing less of a Penelope Ward book. She has not disappointed me yet, and I can't wait to see what she brings us next.
