In all honesty, I did not want this book. I didn't want a book about Snow. I wanted a book about Haymitch or Mags. However, this is what we got, and as a book about Snow, I thought it was very good. I enjoyed learning the history of the Hunger Games and the lore of the world. It gave a lot of insight into the games and why Snow acted the way he did in the books. However, since it isn't a book that I wanted or really needed, I give it a lower star grade.
