Deacon is a hard-ass demon slayer that doesn't let anything interfere with getting the job done. Violet is an insecure woman who dreams of finding her one true love. When a incubus seems to fulfill her every desire Deacon is sent to destroy the demon, but Violet may not want to be saved. She will have to choose between an incubus, able to read and fulfill her every desire, and Deacon, a real man with real issues that will do anything to have her.


I really enjoyed watching Deacon and Violet meet each other. Their initial verbal exchange was so much fun to read. Even though their characters are totally different - they seemed to mesh so well. Things moved a little quickly and both were very accepting of such strange circumstances - but everything was finished off perfectly at the end.
