I enjoyed this book even more than City of Bones (which I loved). 

There were some great Clary and Jace moments, but man I felt bad for Simon in a lot of this book. 

Once again, Cassandra Clare managed to throw a surprising plot twist at me. 

I thought it was cool to learn more about Clary and Jace's abilities. 

This book also had some great action scenes. 

Valentine is still a mega loser though. 

Overall, I loved this book and can't wait to read City of Glass!
