Wow, I'm so blown away by this book and I can't believe that it is a debut novel. This is now one of my favorite single dad/nanny books, and I absolutely loved Cole and Delaney and of course, Ava too! I also loved the combo of grumpy/sunshine; Cole was the grumpy and Delaney was the sunshine but Cole definitely had such a soft spot for his daughter and was so sweet with her. I loved Delaney's journey of really reclaiming herself and not apologizing for who she is, and for teaching Ava to always be herself too. Delaney was so good for Cole and Ava, and they were meant to be a family. There are so many good tropes in this: single dad/nanny, grumpy/sunshine, age gap, forced proximity, abandonment issues, small town, free spirit FMC/rigid and routine MMC, and such great spice as well. If you liked "Heartless" by Elsie Silver, then this is the book for you. The cover is also so cute! Thank you so much to Amelia Chasen for the ARC of this book!
