4.5 Stars - A cross-cultural foodie romance set in one of my very favorite cities (DC) in the part of the city I lived in (Northeast) that has a huge emphasis on community & sex positivity for women? All of the YES to Happy Endings being a delightful read! Thien-Kim Lam truly wrote a romcom that’s lighthearted yet deeply impactful. It’s equal parts hilarious and tender. The themes of honoring and uplifting your community, the importance and difficulty of family, & chasing your dreams even when others don’t approve added so much depth to the otherwise fun and steamy storyline. I found myself rooting for exes Trixie & Andre even when I was shaking my head as they each got in their own way. Plus the spice in this books is the perfect amount. Yup it’s official, I’m a sucker for an “exes with unfinished business” trope.
