The Nanny
by Lana Ferguson
Some parts of this I liked, but overall, there was more I didn't like. I loved Wanda and Sophie... and I think that's about it. The smut scenes were basically copy and paste of each other. Aiden sounded like a big creep in those OF messages. In person, he was cool, I suppose, but noticeably absent and given that the mother of his child died and his daughter was struggling, he should have made more of an effort. The only reason he made an effort was because Cassie pointed it out to him, which should not have been needed, given the circumstances. It was awkward, reading about these two constantly bumping into each other, having weird conversations, then playing it off, then all of the sudden, they hooked up and they were essentially together. The way it all went down was weird. And the weirdest? Cassie SHOULD NOT HAVE LIED TO HIM when she knew it was the same guy. How Aiden so quickly forgave her was beyond me because absolutely not. I think it had potential, but was just poorly executed.
