The Blood of Olympus by Rick Riordan
2.25

This book draggggged. I am sorry to say, but for at least the first 300 pages, I often found myself using the words dull or boring. For the last book in a series, it should be filled with action and resolution... but this book felt like it just wandered around from place to place, trying to set something up for a finale, that ended up not being all that exciting either.

I also will complain once again about Percy not having POV chapters. Every book without Percy is just not as good or fun. These stories miss his voice. Put on top of that the fact that Piper is the most boring and insufferable character... could we get a swap?

It's not all bad. I love Nico and love the insight, character growth, and emotions relating to him these past two books. I also really enjoyed Reyna. And the hunters of Artemis are my favorite so loved that they made an appearance.

But overall... this book is a whimper to the end of a series that has some great moments (Particularly in the middle 3 books), but was just ok in the end I guess.
