Graveyard Shift
by Angela Roquet
What Roquet lacks in world-building, her heroine Lana Harvey does an admirable job of making up for in spunk. She is a rule-bending reaper who finds herself at the crux of a poorly-explained plot that might end in the destruction of the afterlife. I like that all human deities are represented in the afterlife, and this is definitely a fun beach read.
