xennicole 's review for:
Scot Under the Covers: The Wild Wicked Highlanders
by Suzanne Enoch
I realize that I am a sucker for a gambling hell with a suspense plot, and Suzanne Enoch delivers. The MacTaggert brothers forced into the London social scene to find a bride per the requirement of the estranged mother deal with their father, for their youngest sibling, a sister to marry. Their sister is engaged to Miranda Harris's brother, but he got himself into trouble, and to save everything, he sold/blackmailed his sister, Miranda, into marriage. Miranda is smart and tries to get herself free, but realizes she needs a gambler to help her and she can only think of one that is a family - perfect cover.
Instant attractions, desire to not ruin is sister marriage unless he has too, Aiden MacTaggert will do anything for his sister's best friend, and perhaps he found his English bride.
I got an ARC from Edelweiss and St. Martin's for an honest review.
